Career/Occupation:
Mark is a 16-year employee with Victor Saroki & Associates Architects in Birmingham, Michigan and he has 16 design awards attributed to projects under his leadership. In 2001 he was made a principal (partner) and in 2007, AIA-Michigan awarded Victor Saroki & Associates the Firm of the Year. He is currently in charge of the Main North and Plum Market projects. He is an accomplished designer and leads several of the project-teams within the office and is called on to present the firm’s projects to local zoning boards. Mark has also served on the faculty at the University of Cincinnati, Mississippi State University, Plymouth Polytechnic (UK), the University of Detroit-Mercy, and Lawrence Technological University.

Community Involvement/Volunteer Work:

• Team Leader for the 2008 Rotary International GSE to Turkey.
• Member of the Birmingham Rotary Club in District 6380. Served on their Endowment Board and is currently on their Board of Directors. Mark is also the Club’s liaison to the Seaholm High School Interact Club and was Co-Chair for the Birmingham Rotary Annual Wine-Tasting/SilentAuction in 2005 and 2006. He participates in every Club community-service activity and is involved in several Club committees. When he returns from Turkey, the Club will present his wife, Tracey, with a Paul Harris Fellowship award from donor points given by Mark.
• Serves as the Treasurer for the Royal Oak Historical Commission.
• Lawrence Technological University Architectural Alumni Cabinet member.
