Career/Occupation:
Jaimi has been planning events for the last 10 years. Currently, she is the director of events for the Troy Chamber of Commerce where she develops networking, educational and fundraising activities for local business people. She is responsible for approximately 50 events a year. Jaimi has also enjoyed planning major fundraising events for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association. One of her most successful events was Detroit’s inaugural Cattle Baron’s Ball, which raised $1 million.

Before beginning her career in event planning, Jaimi toured with the several professional ice skating shows including Ice Capades and Holiday On Ice. She skated throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries including France, Germany, Egypt, Japan and Aruba. Figure skating has been an important part of Jaimi’s life since she appeared in her first local ice show at the age of four. She continues to enjoy skating with friends and teaching others.

Personal:
Jaimi is the middle in a family with five children. She, her brother and three sisters are all very close. They especially enjoy spending time together with their parents, at the family’s summer cottage on Lake Huron.
